"If you like dioxins, you'll love incineration" - Tooker Gomberg

Tooker Gomberg - candidate for mayor in the Toronto municipal election November 13 - is an environmental journalist (his work has appeared in Straight Goods) and was a long-serving Edmonton city councillor. He took a minute to dash off a response to Larry's column:

  "If you like dioxins, you'll love incineration. Biogas, as in Newmarket, is the way to go for my money. I have been working on garbage issues for over 20 years. Edmonton's compost plant is part of my legacy as a city councillor there."
