MILITARY SURVIVOR WEBSITE
Suzanne Swift signed up for the US Army as a way to earn a college degree. She did not sign up for repeated sexual assault by her commanding officer and his friends. She served in Iraq, returned home and then went Absent WithOut Leave rather than face re-deployment under the command of her assailant. Her mother has built a website to gather public support and stories from other survivors of sexual assault in the military.
