SPECIAL COUNSEL'S WEBSITE
SG readers might recognize Patrick Fitzgerald's name from a previous Hot Web Rumour item. The buzz is growing that the US federal Special Counsel, who has spent two years investigating how Valerie Plame was publicly named as a CIA operative, will issue indictments by Oct 28. Informed sources say the indictments are likely to include Karl Rove (George W Bush's Chief of Staff), Dick Cheney's Chief of Staff, Lewis "Scooter" Libby, and, very possibly, Vice President Cheney himself. When the Special Counsel does announce the results of this investigation, get the Straight Goods on what he said at his very own website.
